Calling All Athletes! Calling All Athletes!

Here at Athletic Points we find it important to utilize all types of exercise techniques.  By using various forms of strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, and coordination training will help all athletes improve on one skill or another.  Be it baseball, basketball, cheer leading, cross country, football, lacrosse, mountain biking, rugby, skiing, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball, or wrestling; being a well rounded athlete is always beneficial.

One type of strength training that can benefit an athlete by not only by pure strength but also help develop stabilizer muscles and body awareness is medicine ball training.  Medicine ball drills are a great way to develop many different muscle groups in a limited amount of time.

Theses drills are a good starting point for any athlete at any skill level.  These drills can be done as an individual or in a team setting.
